A katmoget ewe lamb from Bella & S'more

Bella 's new lamb~ our first katmoget and our first ewe lamb of the season.
Bella is an exceptional mother~constantly watching her little baby girl. Zinnia (we're using Z names this time)is always at her side.She was the big hit of the Easter weekend since some of our children and grandchildren got to witness her birth.

S'More becomes a papa!

It's been almost a week now that our first lambs were born.

New Additions

  This is our new breeding ram

 Mapleton  S'more. He will bring new genetics into our flock and hopefully spots! He is such a sweet and gentle boy with an oh so soft fleece.He microned at 24.8.

We're looking forward to his lambs next Spring.

He comes from Kara Mapstone at Mapleton Farm.

We purchased Minwawe  Duet the same day. She is absolutely lovely!Yuglet sokket with a soft crimpy fleece. Hasn't been microned yet.This will be her second breeding season.

Homeschoolers Day at the Farm.

Our grandson's homeschooling friends came up for a Day at the Farm. They got to hold lambs, skirt a fleece,card and spin. The grand finale was a hayride.
